Founded in 1939 on the ridge of Mount Pilatus in Switzerland to complete maintenance and repairs on Swiss Air Force aircraft, Pilatus have since designed 15 aircraft inspired by the rugged terrain found in the Swiss Alps, bought out Britten-Norman and now have bases in Europe, Asia, America and the Australasia.
In 2010 Pilatus delivered their 1000th PC-12, their most popular model and due to the demand for increased speed and range Pilatus introduced the the PC-24 in 2014 which has been widely enjoyed for it's ability to use short runways.
